"Summer."

"And you don't remember anything between being captured and last night."

"Alright." Karen reached into her jacket and procured a few photos, which she showed one at a time to Eleanor, asking her if she recognized anyone. The photos were of Marissa, Kyle, Sakura, Tracy, Angel, Jack, and Zin.

"All but that one." Eleanor said, putting a finger into one of Zin's special eyes. "They were at the house."

"That's the first you remember seeing them?"

Karen stood up. "Thank you for your cooperation, Eleanor. I'll leave you alone now, get some rest."

Eleanor took a step towards Karen. "Wait...What are you going to do with me?"

Karen paused at the curtain and looked back at the girl. "I'm going to try to find your father - in the meantime, stay with the doctors, you can trust them. Or if you really can't, you'll only have to put up with them for a short while. Once you're better you'll be moved to a foster home until we can find your family."

"You can't find him!" Eleanor objected. "He doesn't want to be found. He'll find me."

Karen was silent for a moment.

"Get some rest."

She left passed back behind the curtain.

Eleanor turned around and kicked the bed after Karen left. She waited a moment, then peeked around the curtain to make sure Karen was out of sight.

She was. Already down the hall in fact, making some calls, requesting the name 'Carl Tate' to be looked up, as she made her way down to the parking lot.

The doctors and nurses also seemed to be out of sight. Eleanor theorized that they might be avoiding her after the...incident, a while ago. That was just fine by her, as it made escaping a bit easier.

Angel's tapping on the bars was interrupted by a certain Karen. She looked like she was in a hurry.
"I visited your friend in the hospital. Pretty sure I saw the handiwork of another of your 'friends' on the way back."

"As all right as a brain damaged magical kid could be expected to be. Took a detour on the way back, and the same can't be said for a lot of truck drivers." Karen replied, referring to Remus' handiwork she'd seen. She thought it'd been Firehawk of course, but she was in the right ballpark at least.

"McLenden's hospital was melted by lava." Karen replied. In most situations that would sound laughably ridiculous, but she said it with a completely straight face and serious tone. "Fires all across the freeway. If you've got something to say about it, now would be the time."

Tracy had also fallen asleep now, still in the interrogation room apparently.
