Glink tried to retrieve her mask, but only fumbled and dropped it again, as she hadn't the use of her fingers. Sighing, she reluctantly removed the oversized gloves and got her mask back, before standing up and moving back in to retrieve her fallen sword near the ravager Todd had just finished off.

Killroy had also entered the battle by now and already had killed a pair of Ravagers. Granted they were both partially distracted by the guards they were fighting. The guards got credit for assists.

Dedrick had taken off after the fleeing half of prisoners. The jailer remained frozen in place. Evidently he was only comfortable when his enemies were separated from him by iron bars.

This sort of thing wasn't Mhaenal's forte, but he was holding his own just fine so far. He didn't like being crowded in like this and found himself wishing they'd been able to at least take the fight outside first. He jabbed his sword into a Ravager and, to his surprise, the Ravager grabbed onto his sword and held on.
Mhaenal mentally cursed him as he had to punch another attacker as he came in from the side. He yanked on the sword once, but the Ravager held fast, so instead he stepped forward, driving the sword in up to the hilt, then jerked it upwards, gutting him.
The Ravager slid off of the sword and Mhaenal saw movement coming at him from his right. He leaned back, narrowly avoiding a beheading and only getting a small nick on his shoulder from an ax. Before his new attacker could swing the weapon back up Mhaenal slashed him across the face with his sword.

Todd was still trying to remove his sword from the Ravager, when he looked up and saw Mhaenal a few feet away.
"Hey Farm Boy! You need some help?"
Right after he said this he yanked his sword out of the Ravager, sending him falling backwards.

Falling backwards right into Glink, knocking her over less than a second after she'd grabbed the handle of her sword.

"Why, can't get them on your own?" Mhaenal responded without even glancing at Todd. He tossed the sword to his left hand and slashed at another Ravager as he wiped the previous one's blood off of his right hand onto his pants.

The first guard rushed up to join them, but was hit in the collarbone by an arrow fired by a Ravager archer somewhere further down the hall. The wave of melee-armed Ravagers was dwindling now, leaving the barbarians with ranged weapons a more open lane to fire.

"Don't let 'em hit ye!" Killroy shouted, "Them arrows be poisoned!"

"Kiltroy!" Todd yelled while he started to stand up, "it's not like we were going to let them shoot us because they had regular arrows!"

Glink was getting back to her feet as well, staring wide-eyed at all the red paint Mhaenal was spraying and flinging around the room.

"I ain't even wearin' a kilt ya bloody midget!" Killroy shouted back, ducking under a blow from a heavy club, whilst thrusting his blade into the unguarded chest of the brute.

The guard was gasping in pain and suffocation as the poison was circulating through his body, causing intense pain in his bloodstream and resulting in his lungs beginning to fail.

"I am not a midget," Todd yelled as he took a running leap, lunging at a Ravager. The Ravager stepped to the left, sending Todd rolling down the hall, knocking several guards and Ravagers over. He fumbled up and wobbled back toward Killroy,
   "I'm just...height impaired!"

Glink stood up as a ravager came towards her, thrusting her sword right up between his legs. He let out some kind of cross between a scream and a howl  before tumbling over Glink and rolling back a bit in Todd and Killroy's general direction.

Killroy had acquired another blade somehow, which he promptly hurled into the rolling Ravager.

The last melee Ravagers had just fallen, leaving just two archers and a javelin thrower further down the hall.

Mhaenal grabbed a shield off of a rack against the wall and charged at the closest of the archers. He felt an arrow yank at the fabric of his pants and smothered a brief moment of panic. It hadn't touched his skin.
He didn't even bother slowing down to swing his sword when he reached the Ravager and just plowed his shield into him with the entire weight of his body behind it.

Todd stood at the end of the hall, then started running toward the remaining Ravagers. He then curled into a ball and went rolling toward them...

The archer that Mhaenal ran into was knocked off his feet, but quickly recovered and pulled out a serrated long-knife.

The javelin thrower, a woman, knocked off her feet by bowling Todd. The other archer tried to adjust his aim but a charging guard impaled him before he could fire.

"I think ye should put the sword down before ye hurt someone, lassie." Killroy suggested.

Todd, quite dizzy by now, stood up. He tried to maintain his balance, but was soon hit in the back of the helmet by Glink's sword swinging.

"Are they all gone?" Glink asked, still swinging, albeit less wholeheartedly. Apart from the rebound, she didn't even realize she'd hit Todd.

Mhaenal slashed at the archer as he drew the knife.

Since the archer had no armor nor weapon to block the attack, he pretty much lost whatever was at the point that Mhaenal slashed at. So he was either killed or severely wounded.

"Fer now." Killroy replied to Glink, "Shouldn't linger 'ere fer them to catch up again."

Killroy looked to see if there were any guards left alive. A couple of the ones who had been fighting at the beginning were alive, though battered and confused that a bunch of prisoners had saved their hides. The jailer was also still there, albeit white as a fresh snowfall.

"Alright laddie, ye said ye was gettin' us outta 'ere, so git to it." Killroy told the man, walking back to him and giving him a push to rouse him form his stupor.

"Uh, yes... right." the jailer mumbled, regaining some of his color, then beginning down the hall in the direction the Ravagers had come by, "The horse stalls are out the front."

Todd fumbled up again and walked straight into a wall. He backed up quickly, banging into the opposite wall. "Hey Shorty!" He said with his arms extended, feeling for another wall, "Kiltroy? Farm Boy? Anybody?" He then fell over again.

Shorty finally stopped swinging and lowered her sword. "What, who?"

"Where is everyone, are you all okay?" She asked after a moment.

"Won't be fer long if we stand around 'ere yakin'." Killroy replied, noting the evidently unconscious Todd and quickly scanning the room for any sort of liquid in a container.
