Mhaenal ducked under the head, stepped forward and attempted to step on its tongue before it could pull Glink any further, simultaneously stabbing downward at its left head with the dagger.

//9 for the step, 5 for the stab//

Todd was dazed by his fall, and couldn't see very well as he got up. He raised his sword and lunged forward at what he hoped was the creature.

Mhaenal narrowly missed the slimy tongue, but did manage to hit the head with the dagger. The strike didn't land as dead-on as intended, so instead of stabbing into its brain, the knife simply slashed down the side of its head, causing for a stream of yellow liquid to come gushing out. It screeched then just tried headbutting the elf.

Glink wildly slashed at the creature as it pulled her closer, to no avail, and soon her foot was in its mouth. It was only such for a moment though, as it spat her out and whipped its head up in the air after being impaled by Todd. More yellow liquid flowed out, and it swiped a clawed hand in the dwarf's general direction.

//4 on the headbutt, 6 for the claw.

From the flank, Killroy lunged forward and tried to thrust his sword into the creature's underbelly.

Mhaenal leaned backwards out of the way and slashed at its neck.

The creature pulled back just as its neck was cut, though not severed, sending more yellow blood flying through the air. It also moved in such a way that Killroy's sword simply slid to the side and he was knocked on his arse. The creature screeched again, kicked a hole in the wall behind him, then tried to barrel past the party to get to Olavon.

//8 on the barrel. Gotta beat that to not get knocked over or... something.

Mhaenal just barely dodged out of the way, then drew his bow again and released an arrow after the creature.

Killroy wasn't in the creature's path, so the only thing he had to worry about was his wounded shoulder and wounded pride. And standing up too.

Todd had jumped out of the way right before the creature tried to claw him, but unfortunately his sword was still stuck in it. As it began to run towards Olavon, he charged toward it to recover his sword.

The creature smacked Todd back with its tail while charging, and the arrow missed entirely. Olavon had just risen to his feet, and he shrieked in terror at the site of the pinkish thing coming at him, his only defense being a frying pan...

    *CRASH*

Yeah, so the frying pan didn't work, there was a large person-sized dent in the wall, and Olavon was back on the floor...

"Well get after him now!" Killroy shouted, before trying to stumble after the monster.

"Right behind you." Todd grunted from the floor.

Glink stood up and chased after the monster as well - the monster which was currently freaking out, smashing just about everything in the kitchen while trying to eat the terrified home owner as he tried to crawl to safety.

Mhaenal sent another arrow after the creature, stepping back as everyone else ran forward.

Killroy managed to catch up to the thing and tried to stab its rear-left leg.

Meanwhile, Todd was frantically searching for a suitable replacement for his sword, which was still stuck in the creature.

The arrow missed, but Killroy severed the leg clean off. Well, not really 'clean' actually, the floor and walls and Killroy's clothes were being painted by gushing green blood. The creature screamed and turned around in an awkward, stumbling motion, smashing down a couple walls as it did so, before slashing at Killroy and 'biting' at Glink again. Its efforts seemed desperate, but weak. It was clearly on its last legs.

//7.

Todd found... kitchen things... silverware, plates, glass, pots, pans, food, etc.

Glink leaped back to dodge the gummy face, then slashed it with her sword, splitting its tubular mouth down the side.

    Clearly? More like literally.
    Mhaenal...loosed another arrow.

The monster knocked Killroy several feet in the air, culminating with him winding up on his back again, and groaning in pain.

Todd found something that looked edible, and was about to devour it when the green blood reached his general area, soaking the food. In a rage of anger, he grabbed a nearby ladle and began to charge at the creature again.

The arrow stuck all the way through one of its throats, tip pointing out one end, fletching out the other. It continued howling, screaming, and smashing into the walls on its way to the floor. It flopped there, looking quite pathetic at this point... but still, it reared its last functional head up one more time, took one eyeless look at Glink, and-

    *GONG*

It finally collapsed to the ground with an impressive and squishy thud, as the final blow was delivered by Todd's ladle.

"Yeah... and colorful!" Glink exclaimed, poking at the melting beast. Melting? Yes, it was slowly melting... into a puddle of liquid as multicolored as its blood.

Mhaenal put his bow away and hesitantly approached the creature, looking at it with distaste. He stepped over Todd and the corpse, and went to check on Olavon.
